It was crazy - completely off the wall strange for her. Her head was spinning, and it felt like the world was tilting back and forth. A loud groan to express pain was all she could manage. Perhaps visiting the wonders of an active volcano wasn't as great an idea as she had predicted. The blow wasn't big, but it was big enough to throw a few rocks. Jack's head happened to become a victim of this act.
What next, Jackson? How about we just run through the hot river, next! she thought as she started to force herself into a standing position. It was always hell trying to heave her giant ass off the ground - especially when something hard had made impact with her skull. Before being knocked unconscious for about ten minutes, Jack was simply wandering across territories, trying to find her brother. Thoughts and memories had been swirling in her mind. Right now, though, the only thing swirling was the sky as the smoke blazed up from the volcano's mouth. It was like a bad trip... Dino-style.
Jackson shook it off, still feeling dizzy. Now was the time to start moving. As weak in the knees as she felt, she began her quick journey away from the angry land mass. Her whip-like tail snapped back and forth as she jogged along. A stumble over a rock was like hell. Her nose tapped the ground, but she didn't stop. That lava was seeping toward her pretty quickly, and since she'd blacked out for a whole ten minutes, it was too close.
Didn't take too long, but it was longer than she would have liked. Jack was eventually out of range. Grass was peeking above the dusty ground almost happily. Jack pondered how long it would last there before the volcano blew itself apart.
